Business Systems Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Information Services Business Systems programming staff.
  
• Evaluate customer needs and assign Business Systems staff duties to satisfy those needs.
  
• Systems analysis and design together with data analysis and design.
  
• Make software recommendations to management.
  
• Provide project management, task leadership and training for project team members.
  
• Stay abreast of industry developments appropriate to computer services.
  
• Follow and improve Information Services area processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree plus 5 years related experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
  
• Experience supervising or managing a team of software developers
  
• Commitment to customer service
  
• Experience improving business processes in a Information Services environment
  
• Understanding of top-level business processes
  
• Understanding of current MIS technologies
  
• In depth knowledge of manufacturing environments
  
• Effective writing, speaking and organizational skills
  
• Ability to motivate and develop staff members
  
• Ability to work cooperatively with team members and SEL staff
  
• Ability to respond satisfactorily to a variety of customers
  
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• SQL based application (asp.net, vb.net) and database design and programming
  
• Lotus notes programming experience
  
• UniData Database experience
  
• UniBasic/Preview programming experience
  
• Experience implementing and managing ERP systems
